Running away to the beach

I HAD to get out of the Mansion for a while! Ophelia is driving me nuts! So I walked down to the bay, and decided to get some sun tanning in.

The sand is sooooo warm and wonderful! But, I can't stay long, I don't want to mess up my new summer outfit!

and besides, I forgot my blanket and pillow!

Garage Sales

It was a dark and stormy night........ giggle.... actually it was bright and sunny. I was taking my walk and saw this cute wicker sofa at a garage sale!!!!

It was a total steal!!!! So I had to take it home with me. I'm going to put it in that little window nook in my bedroom, you know the one that over looks that wonderful swamp.

I may make a cushion for it, but then maybe not, I'll just sit here with Drac, my teddy, and watch the moon rise over the swamp! How relaxing!

Packing for Shore Leave

I'm going to Shore Leave with Grandmama.

Grandmama was going with the Goddess Steph, but she can't go this year..... and Morticia said that if Janu and Sangre weren't going.... she wasn't going. Sigh

Grandmama was so upset, that I said I would go with her!

I have no idea what a "Shore Leave" is, but grandmama says there is a pool, so I'm packing away! I even have a nice black dress for the dance in the evening!!!!

I feel so sorry for Grandmama, she's going to have to spend all weekend with her sister, sharing a room, so hopefully by coming with her... it will cheer her up a bit!

Damn sisters!!!!

"What's all the yelling going on down here Mortica! I'm trying to read and I can't concentrate! Morticia, you can be such a pain in my ass!"

"Pain in YOUR ass????" Morticia screamed! "Can't you see your stupid trunk fell over on me while I was trying to drag it into the basement???"

"It's not my problem that you tried to move it! You should have left it alone!"

"Look, Ophelia, I love having you move in, but you have to do your share of the work around here! This is a big mansion, and I'm fine cleaning and stuff, but if your living here.... you have to pitch in some!"

"Why bother Morticia? why can't we have servants like Grandmama had?"

"Those were the old days, Ophelia, now a days we do things for ourselves. I have someone doing the gardening, and at least you should be grateful for that? I know how much you hate bugs and dirt."

"Whatever! Leave my trunk alone, I drag it down the basement when I get a chance. Don't be such a neat freak! "

Why Me????

This is the trunk my sister shipped here. Of course it was to heavy for the men to take up 3 flights to her tower room..... So here it is, weeks later, still in the hallway!!!

How can someone have that much clothing????? It's so big I could live in here!!! Hello!!!! can you hear the echo from here???

Well, since I don't employ servants.... sigh, wish I did... looks like I'm going to have to drag this thing into the basement!!

Damn! And I just got these new pants!!!! Oh well, time to take off my shoes and get to work. Other wise it will just sit here, blocking the bay window.... FOREVER!
