Gazing ball

Grandmama said "stare at the ball, it'll tell you all" Well, I've been looking at it for hours, and so far nothing at all...... maybe I have the wrong ball?

Chill in the air

Grandmama heard that the chill coming from the north, had settled even here in Calif. So she sent me this cute little sweater coat, and hat she made. She said it was made OF an "Ex-Bunny" friend of hers...... or did she say it was made BY her "Ex-Bunny" friend. Hummmm, now I'm not sure......

But it is sure cozy on a nippy day!

Gardner?????

I was sitting on my window, just feeling blue, when I think I caught a glimpse of my Grandmama's Gardner!!!!!

I grabbed the camera and took some picks with the telescoping lens....... at least I think he's the Gardner, he was in my back yard......

But he didn't seem to pleased to see me taking his picture! Or maybe he's just showing me his muscles??? I'm not sure...... what do you think?
WOW!!!!! Nice Pec's!!!!!

mooning around the house

Of course my favorite thing to do is mope around in bed all day. sigh.... I wish the sun would go away!!!!

Of course you have to have the perfect out fit for being sad, don't you? This one is much better
To much sunlight around today,
let the rain come in to stay.
thunder rumble, lightning strike,
fit the weather to my mood tonight!

Strange???

These are some strange cats that live in the basement. Are cats supposed to talk?

Wonder what one is telling the truth?????
This is one of the big picture windows in my den. It's huge! But I like sitting here on days that I feel to blue to go out. A good book and some cherry's and I'm, well, not happy, but semi contented.

This is the Buddha in the front hall. How they got it in here I have no idea!!!! But I rub his cute little head every day. I'm sending this picture to Grandmama, to remind her of home..... Hi Grandmama, miss you!!!

Chest in the attic

I found this dress in a trunk in the attic!

Grandmama says they are from her friend Miss Steph!
I've never met her, yet, but Grandmama calls her a "True Goddess!" And I agree!!!!!
THANK YOU MISS STEPH!!!!!!

Tour of my Grandmama's house

This is Gradmama Judith's house. Pretty isn't it? It's quite large, so large in fact, that I haven't seen most of it yet!!!!

I do have a live in gardener/handy man..... but, though I've heard him digging around, out side, in the garden...........I've yet to meet him. Every time I get the energy to trek outside, he seems to be gone. I wonder where in the house he stays, if he does stay here at night?
I'm thinking of having someone come and paint it..... what do you think of pink and purple? But, then again, it's just too much trouble to bother with.

This is the wonderful view from my bedroom window! I picked this bedroom out of all of them, just for the fantastic view. Just fits my mood, doesn't it? The smell of the swamp wafting thru my window's at night is sooooooo soothing! And the cry of the loons sweeps me off to sleep.
This is my next project, the basement. Grandmama said that there is a lot of old family furniture and papers and stuff down there, that I might be interested in...... but so far I've only gotten to the door before thinking better of it, and going back up stairs. Truthfully, I'm just not interested enough to go in and sift thru all the spiders and dirt. Though I do hear strange sounds coming from there in the black of night. Maybe a mousy lives there? It would have to be a really BIG mouse!

That's some of the house. With just a million rooms yet to visit and be explored. When I get the energy I might wander around, but I'm quite comfy in my little sitting room, for now that is.....

My Grandmama's Mansion

Here I am in what Grandmama Judith calls the sitting room. It's quite gloomy and dark. I'm not sure what's in that chest.... or why she has all those rocks around? But the fireplace is cosy, and gives a Divine amber glow to the whole room.

Grandmama hasn't installed the electric yet, she's a little old fashioned. But these candle torches provide the perfect ambiance to my dreary existence.

I'm pretty sure, that just her picture over the fireplace will scare of any new friends....
oh well, I'm just not in the mood to make any anyway. And Gomez agrees with me. Good doggie!

In later blogs I'll show you around the whole house, and give you a tour of her gardens.
Oh, did I forget to mention that I'm a WITCH?
Yes, goodness, I guess I did. Sorry about that. Grandmama Judith is one also, maybe that's why she likes it so dark in here? Or maybe it's just because the darkness hides her age? GIGGLE

Hello Everyone

My name is Morticia Wilde. As you can see I'm a ball joint doll.
My Grandmama Judith has left for Paris, and I've moved into her mansion. She left quite quickly, I'm not sure why....but she did say this house was "driving her to distraction".... whatever that means
It's quite dark and gloomy, and at night it's very, very, spooky! Oh, and did I forget to mention, it sits right over the San Fransisco fault line, but it's home.
My dog Gomez and I are looking forward to many, hopefully, interesting adventures here
at Grandmama Judith's.
Feel free to join me, but I should warn you, it's soooooo boring!!!! I'm going to try to find things to occupy my time, and, maybe make me a little happy.... that's if it isn't too much trouble.
But I'll endeavor to entertain you. I do write quite good poetry, even if it's a little dark, you should enjoy it.
